Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long will one pouch of tea last?

Our tea is sold in pouches of varying weight options: the larger 50 gram pouches contain enough loose leaf tea to to serve 15 to 20 cups; the Taste Teaser pouches contain between 10 to 20 grams, depending upon the tea blend. These Taste Teaser pouches can serve 3 to 6 cups, and are also what is sold in our Personalitea Packs.

Whilst our teas will last 12 months from packing, and the resealable pouches we provide are designed to retain the quality of the product to the ‘last leaf’, we still recommend you consume your tea within 3 months of opening, to ensure you are enjoying the best tasting product.

We also suggest you store your pouches in a cool, dry, dimly lit place to further prolong its shelf life.

  • How do you link tea-types to personality?

As James Bond takes his Martinis’ “shaken not stirred”, we take our tea seriously not gimmicky, at Cup of Personalitea. Except for that cheesy opening line. Our vision of providing tea suited to each of our customers unique personality is genuine. In recognition of how significantly a simple cuppa can influence one’s state of mind, our pairing of tea-type to personality traits ensures our customers experience the most wholesome tea break, every time.

Our university education background in Psychology serves as the foundation to our understanding and awareness of personality and its identified trait theories. Our data is collated through extensive research, interlacing relevant journal articles, research studies, and text books. These academic sources are further supportive for our outcome analysis, in conjunction with anecdotal learnings and autonomous observation.

We recognise that such a concept requires continual revision as psychological theory evolves, and so are committed to frequent reviews of accepted practice and emerging concepts.
